What: John Everett Ellis, a descendant of Abraham Smith, will share this Quaker’s story as a founder of Ridge Farm, a staunch radical abolitionist, and a friend of Abraham Lincoln. He will also have copies of his new, well-researched book, Quaker Abraham Smith (The Other Abraham) – Radical Abolitionist On the Illiana Prairie available for sale.
